Every piece is made by hand by us in our North Carolina studio and can be personalized with your logo, event branding, or individual names.
Make it personal
Using a traditional hot stamping press, we create custom brass stamps from your logo or artwork and press each design directly into the leather by hand. The result is a lasting impression that becomes part of the piece itself.
Leather has a way of becoming more personal over time. Each mark, crease, and impression becomes part of its story, making a personalized piece feel even more meaningful with use.
Choose a timeless blind emboss, where the natural texture of the leather takes center stage, or add white or gold foil for a more distinctive finish.
For special events, we can bring this personalization experience directly to your guests with live stamping of names and initials on select leather goods.
Handcrafted in Durham, NC
When you partner with Sunhouse Goods, you’re supporting makers who are deeply passionate about craft, while also helping us write a new chapter in North Carolina industrial history.
We cut directly from the hide, sew and finish all of our goods in our Durham, NC studio.
All of our products are made-to-order, with a lead time of six to twelve weeks. We ask that you finalize your order as soon as possible, so that we can begin sourcing and cutting material.
While we have no minimum order quantity, our price breaks begin at 20 units.
Sustainability
Materials:
We source exclusively from LWG-audited tanneries, selecting our suppliers based on their commitments to animal welfare, environmental responsibility, and material traceability. Our leathers are a byproduct of the meat industry, and never come from animals killed for their skins.
Waste:
Made-to-order means that we only make what we’re going to ship. When no excess is created, nothing is discarded. Scraps that we can’t use ourselves are donated to educational programs and our local scrap exchange.
Carbon footprint:
From raw material to finished goods, we handle every step of production in-house. By not outsourcing any of our processes, we keep our supply chain as short as possible.
